The answer to your question would depend on what reason you were arrested for in the other state. Was it for the violation of a law in that state? Then they would try you there and possibly hold you there until trial.
If they arrested you on a warrant from your state, then it would depend on whether your state is asking for you to be returned to them. In any case, you should consult a criminal defense attorney right away.
