You did not say whether there is a divorce action pending. If so, you are prohibited from removing your husband from your insurance policy. If there is no divorce action pending, I would still not remove him. If there is an additional cost to you to insure him, ask him to reimburse you. Once you get divorced, even though the enrollment period will have passed, the Divorce Order will require your personnel office to remove him from the policy.
