Can I have a contempt of court charge expunged?
About 5 years ago I had an arrest for an alleged breach of a restraining order and the final charge a year later contempt of court with guilty disposition. I have remarried and have a 3 year with my wife and this criminal record is interfering with my current life. Is it possible to expunge it?

It is possible that the criminal conviction that you are writing about could be expunged after a motion seeking such relief is filed and heard by a judge. Assuming the conviction is expunged, it for all intents and purposes no longer remains as a conviction. However the criminal file could remain public record unless sealed by a court order.
With that in mind, I suggest that you consult with a criminal defense attorney as to the cost to file such a motion to expunge your conviction and get an opinion as to the chances of it being granted.
