When do the assets of a Will get distributed?
My uncle died 9 months ago. I am not the executor of his estate buy I was included in his Will. When can I start using the money he left my in his Will? I know it may depend on certain things but give me a rough idea.

I am so sorry for your loss. May I ask: do you have access to any money that was your Uncle's even though you are not the executor. You should not so if you do then you need to advise the executor as soon as possible. Now, it is hard to say in this type of forum when the proceeds of an estate will be distributed to the benficiaries. The size of the estate as well as locating the heirs at law and beneficiaries named can take a long time. You should inquire of the status from the executor. Good luck.
