Depending on the situation betwen you, she and the landlord, I would not consider it "abandoned" under the law. Was she evicted? Did she leave voluntarily? If you do anything to her things it could be considered "conversion: under the law. Please speak with some one and give them all the facts pertaining to her exit. If there is a landlord in the picture her belongings are his or her problem and not yours and they need to affress it. Good luck.
