Injury
About 2 years ago, I was staying in a resort with my husband. As I was showering, the shower doors shattered all over me. I was cut multiple times on my head, neck and arm and hurt myself on the shower bar trying not to fall in a bathtub full of glass. I have had multiple problems with my right arm since the incident; it continues to go numb and I have had a nerve conduction study that shows nerve damage in that arm. Is there anything that I can do? I am a nurse and I cannot work due to my arm pain being so severe. At the time I thought that I was OK but I was so stunned by what had happened.

Alabama has a two year statute of limitations in personal injury cases which means that if a lawsuit is not filed prior to the second anniversary of the date of the injury, your claim is barred by the statute of limitations.
Unfortunately, if the two year statute of limitations has expired, you have lost your rights forever in the matter.
