Is an employer required to pay you vacation time upon termination?
I was terminated from my job and was not paid for a holiday I worked holiday rate nor was I paid for my unused vacation time. Is this legal?

As a general rule, in MD a worker is entitled to the cash value of whatever unused earned vacation leave was left at the time of their departure. However, if their employer's written policy provides otherwise and such policy was communicated to the employee at the time of hire, then PTO need not be paid out upon termination.
