Under the laws of all states in this country the supervisor's comments about "fat women" is not only inapprorpiate in the work place but is also a form of gender harassment towards women in general and in particular those that are over weight. I suggest that you lodge a complaint with human resources and if that does not resolve the problem, contact your local Department of Fair Employment and Housing as well as seek an employment attorney in your locality. One can be found on attorneypages.com.
