IS IT ILLEGAL TO TAPE RECORD YOUR CO-WORKERS?
I AM BEING BULLIED AND WORKING IN A HOSTILE WORK ENVIRONMENT. THERE ARE 5 WOMEN AT THE OFFICE; 1 OF THEM IS THE BOSS. EVERYTIME SHE LEAVE THE ROOM THE WOMEN ARE RUDE TO ME, IGNORE ME, AND GIVE ME DIRTY LOOKS. WHENEVER THE BOSS IS IN THE ROOM THEY ACT SWEET AS PIE. WOMAN IS A FRIEND OF THE BOSS TOO. I JUST WANT TO PROVE TO MY BOSS WHAT IS GOING ON. HOWEVER I DO NOT WANT TO GET FIRED FOR DOING IT.

While employers have somewhat more latitude in recording their employees, fellow employees do not. The fact is that PA has some of the most stringent privacy laws in the country. It is what is known as an "all party state". That means that all parties to a recorded conversation must consent. Failure to get such permission could well result in a lawsuit beingfiled against you - so don't do it. Additionally, it could result in dismissal from your job.
