OK does not have any laws that requires an employer to provide a meal or rest breaks to employees 16 years old and up. Therefore, the federal rule applies and it does not require an employer to provide any breaks. However, if an employer chooses to do so, breaks lasting less than 20 minutes must be paid. Breaks longer than that do not need to be paid, as long as the employee is free to do as they wish during that time.
