If you were a signatory to a spot delivery, wherein you took possession of the motor vehicle and say financing fell through, then you must return the vehicle and you get anything back (from trade in to your money back). If this is not the case, you need to have the dealership clarify what they mean and then explain that you purchased the car and any mistake on their part is their loss.
