Is it legal to share a private Facebook post to someone not in the group who is a boss?

I posted a general statement about being irritated with people who do not stand up for what is right and a co-worker commented on that statement in a joking manner. She said something like, Let me slap them

Yes, it is legal. Once you share a comment, a remark, a picture, a post, etc. with anyone, that person can then reshare it legally with anyone else (that is, so long as the person with whom you shared it did not sign some sort of written confidentiality or nondisclosure agreement). Nothing you share with another person is private or confidential in the absence of a confidentiality agreement. So she could take this to your boss; and your boss could then legally discipline you for it (there is not "free speech" protection in private business).
