Is it legitimate for a real estate agent to recommend that a buyer change banks when making an offer on a building?
The agent claims the buyer won’t like the seller’s bank but wants the buyer to use the seller’s bank.

From what you have written the suggested change of banks by the real estate agent is simply an opinion and such reference is not illegal under the laws of all states in this country. From what I see, the agent is simply trying to get the offer to be accepted.
