Is it mandatory for me to keep my stepchild on my insurance once she turns 18?

My husband has a court order that requires he provides insurance and child support as the child is 16 1/2 years old.

It is very difficult to give guidance here with out being able to read the documents that are in place that govern these issues.  The court order will govern your husband's responsibilities here, but how this works out legally depends on many things, most improtantly the relationship with his child and your future relationship with both of them.  Good luck.
