The fact is that in an "at will" employment relationship, an employer can set the terms and conditions of employment much as it sees fit or deems necessary. This includes having an employee drive 2 hours to meet with them. The fact is that if you don't go you can be terminated. Therefore, unless this action violates the terms of an employment contract, union agreement or company policy, you must comply with this request.
