Is it possible to get married if one person is a citizen and the other person is illegal?
The illegal person has a passport and a visa to visit the US but it expired a few years back.

From a family law standpoint, there is no citizenship requirements to getting married. You will need to talk with an immigration attorney to see how that will effect the visa issue. You might need to be careful that INS doesn't decide you married just to effect the visa. Good luck.
