Yes, convicted felons are still eligible for SSD or any other SS payment. This is true as long as they are not if they are currently incarcerated.

SSR 83-28 notes that Congress intended to deny prisoners SSD benefits during incarceration since “prisoners … do not need a continuing source of income because their basic needs are already furnished at public expense.”
