Is my marriage void or do I need to file for a divorce if my husband was still married when our marriage took place?
My husband and I got married 5 years ago. We found out 3 years ago that he was still married to his ex and I at same time. He supposedly divorced her 2 years ago but I’ve never seen divorce papers. I have no idea of what all I need to do. I’m a single parent so I can’t afford much.

Yes, your marriage is void under the law but becuase of the fact that you were thought to be legally married, you should go and have the court formally declare it void. If you can go and speak with legal aid and see if you qualify for help. Good luck.
