Is this legal?

At work I was hurt and decided to seek medical attention. All protocol was followed by employee and by company. Later an email was sent to all employees at all corporations in different locations in the United States by the manager. This email contained my name, where I sought medical attention, the date, and a detailed summary of the accident. Does this violate any kind privacy laws or rights in which I withhold as an employee. I’m currently still working and receiving treatment for my injury at this time.
