What to do if my landlord sold the house that we rent?
We have only lived here for about 2 months. He did not notify us prior to today and he gave us 30 days to move. I have 2 kids under the age of 10. I am low income and attending college full-time. It is also the coldest season of the year and the worst part is Christmas is coming. Are there any rights or laws that would apply to my situation? And how do I go about getting help?

Assuming you have a lease for more than a month to month basis for the home that you are renting then under the laws of all states in this country the new owner takes ownership of the home subject to your lease. If the lease is a month to month lease, then the new owner can end your lease with a thirty day notice of termination.
