Lost conditional green card while already applied for removal of conditions

I lost my green card, but I had already applied for removal of conditions should
I even bother applying for a replacement card with the other new one pending?

No, you don't need to apply for a replacement of the lost one.  Just wait for the removal of conditions to be adjudicated and hopefully you have a copy of the green card that has been lost in the event you are asked to present it.
