m1 charge threatening bodily harm
I am the one who called police and I over reacted my ex boyfriend threatened me but i knew he really wouldnt hurt me. I didn’t know that he could actually go to jail. He was drinking — we were both tired and stressed. How can i help him so that he doesn’t go to jail — he doesn’t deserve jail

I believe you had posted before. It doesn't matter -- voluntary intoxication is no excuse and it sounds as if you are making excuses for a person who threatened you -- not good.
You cannot drop charges --- if the prosecutor decides to move forward, that is the prosecutor's choice.
