I have medical power of attorney for my Mom. Does this mean I am responsible for

Your medical power of attorney is a durable power of attorney for health care. This enables you to make medical decisions for your mother if she is unable to make those decisions herself; for example, the type or extent of medical treatment.
You are not responsible for paying her medical bills out of your own funds. If you have a general power of attorney to handle her financial matters, then you have the authority to pay her medical bills out of her funds.
