All the grandchildren inherit from your mother-in-law's bequest whether they are grandchildren or stepgrandchildren.
With regard to an inheritance, children, stepchildren, adopted, biological children, grandchildren, stepgrandchildren all have equal rights of inheritance subject to the provisions of a Will or other instrument.
