What to do if my adopted sister is always telling me that she has more rights to our mother’s property than I do because she is our mother biological child and I am not?

What are are my rights as an adopted child? There was No Will left at all. I myself have already assumed my mother’s mortgage note.

I am so sorry for your loss.  If you were legally adopted then you have the same rights as your sister, even if she is her biological daughter. If there is no Will then you inherit equally but I would not assume notes and mortgageshere without the help of a lawyer.  Good luck.
