What to do if my boyfriend and I were passengers in a vehicle involved in a hit and run?

We were unaware that the driver was going to flee the scene. We have talked to him and advised him to talk to the police because my boyfriend and I both have injuries that need tending too.

You can call the police yourself and report the accident. Some states require this if there is a claim for uninsured motorist coverage.   If it turns out that he has no insurance you may have to make a claim against your own policy.   Contact an attorney local to you and proceed from there.
