I do not think that you have a good chance here. First, it would depend on your lease and I am sure that it states that you are parking at your own risk. It then matters about the security and if a claim of lack of adequate security could be made. Remember that you are trying to hold the landlord responsible for the acts of a third party and that is a difficult concept under the law. Finally, the landlord's policy may not insure your property, only his. Good luck.
