He can speak to a lawyer to decide whether the best way to approach this is either to first obtain a temporary restraining order or to simply file for sole custody and no visitation. You must tread carefully and make sure you present as much medical evidence as possible for why you feel his a threat to your son and can place him in grave danger (i.e., can't drive, can't comprehend dangerous situations, hallucinates, etc).
