If my dad just died and my grandmother won’t let me touch anything, what are my rights?

I’m oldest daughter but the next of kin, my aunt and grandmother, want to keep all

I assume that he died but had no Will. That being the case, you are the next of kin in line to inherit. By way of background information, when someone dies without a Will they die "intestate". This means that typically pursuant to state "intestacy" law their survivng spouse, if any, and their children are entitled to the assets of the estate. Only if there are no children then the next in line to inherit would be a parent, and only if there is no surviving parent, would a sibling be entitled to the assets.
