If my employer didn’t advise me that my medical insurance was terminated and I had a blood test bill of $300, what can I do so she pays for this?

You may be able to sue the employer for the money, since in reliance on her "promise" of coverage (i.e. the fact that you thought you had coverage) you incurred the cost of the test--that reliance can obligate your employer to pay for the costs you incur. Also, terminating your coverage could effectively be a breach of contract or fraud, if any money were being taken from your pay for premiums, but you did not get the coverage you were paying for.

Of course, suing your employer can have various consequences for your employment; you should think about whether it is worthwhile.
