What can I do if my employer owes me $2,070?
I did quit. I have asked several times for pay and faxed a wage claim off today. What else can I do?

You can sue the employer: if you did the work, they are legally obligated to pay you. A good option for the amount you describe is to sue in small claims court, acting as your own employer ("pro se")--not only will this save legal fees, but small claims court moves faster (the case will be heard more quickly) than other courts. You can sue not just for the pay itself, but for any interest, late fees, etc. you have had to or will pay as a direct result of the failure to pay your wages.
