To make a minor child (under 18) leave your house constitutes child abandonment which is a crime. And "abandonment" can be construed very broadly. It can mean leaving your child with a neighbor and then not communicating with them or failing to support to the child (financially or otherwiswe).

Note: Not withstanding the above, if your child has put you in fear for your personal safety, you can call the police and they can remove your child from your home.
