Whatto do if my ex-wife is leaving on a business trip and will not give me the phone number of the person who is watching my child or the name of the person?

Is she supposed to give me this information.

She is absolutely supposed to give you this information, especially if situations like these are spelled out or contemplated in the actual divorce and custody decrees. You can file a motion for contempt against her or play nice with her family or friends for this time and find out that information then file the contempt motion. You should also consider possibly being the individual who has custody when she is on business trips.  Either way, you probably won't be able to avoid a contempt or amend motion in family court and it may be your best option to ensure everyone knows what is expected of them.
