What to do if my ex-wife wants to change her son’s last name to mine and our daughter’s?
She is remarried and pregnant with her third and claims she doesn’t want 3 kids with different last names. I love him and he considers me dad. If I allow this am I responsible for child support?

So long as you do not adopt the minor child that you are writing about and are not his biological father you have no legal obligation to provide child support for him under the laws of all states in this country.
