How long must payments on a car be made?
My friend was ordered by the court to pay the payments on a car that is in his name and his ex-wife is in possession of. She became employed and remarried within 2 weeks of their divorce being final. Is he still responsible for the car payments, or should they go back to court?

With respect to the question that you have written, your friend is required to continue making car payments for the time period stated in the court order or until the order is changed. I suggest that your friend carefully read the court order as to him and the car payments he is to make for his "ex". The answer to your question will be in the court order.
