What to do if my girlfriend and I recently broke up, and she is withholding all my personal property, as well as the assets of a joint business?
We’ve run together for 4 years. What action should I take to recover my property and my share of assets?

Suits against a person with holding assets that are not theirs - personal property - are known as actions in Replevin. If she sells them or otherwise does something with them then it is known as Conversion. As for the assets of a business there are so many angles you can take here that stem from embezzlement to breach of fiduciary capacity if it applies. Please seek help. Good luck.
