What to do if my girlfriend put $5000 down on a car payment that I agreed to pay back?
After breaking up she took the car back to the dealership and is now sueing me for the $5000. The car and insurance was in her name. I did sign an agreement to pay it back but it was never noterized or signed by a witness.

If you signed an agreement with your "ex" stating that you are obligated for the $5,000 loaned you then you are. Hower, her taking the car back to the dealership that was presumably was in yout name was wrong and you might have a cross complaint against her for any damages resulting from that.
I suggest that you consult with a consumer law attorney to assist you in your matter.
