What to do if my grandfather left me money in his Will but I was under 18 at the time?

My father used that money to pay for me to go to college even though he was supposed to pay for it himself. Is there a legal case here? Can I sue him for the money that was left for me?

This is a really difficult question to give guidance on in this type of forum.  If your Grandfather left you money that was placed in a trust for your benefit and your Father was trustee, the powers given him under your state law would most likely allow him to invade the trust for your education.  If you are saying that he used the money to shirk his personal responsibility under say a divorce agreement then it may indeed have been a breach of his Trustee duties.  But I would speak with an attorney locally about it all.  Good luck.
