What are my rights if my health insurer is changing my prescription coverage in the middle of the term?

They have “renegotiated” their policy forcing me and my doctor to provide extra information that may embarress me and inconvenience him at a cost that I might have to bear. This seems like a breach of contract. What can I do? I’m sure that I’m not the only person in my position.

Unfortunately, they are allowed to do this: your policy does not guaranty you an absence of embarassment, or your doctor a lack of inconvenience, or that the arrangements between doctors and insurer (or even which doctors are in your network or plan) will not change. This is the unfortunate reality of our health insurance/care system.
