If my landlord gave me notice to move on the 5th of this month, don’t I have until the 5th of the next month to move without paying extra?

My land lord gave me a 30 day notice on the 5th and wants me out by the 30 of the same month. She said if I wanted to stay until the 5th I would have to pay extra for the 5 days.

A tenant must pay rent for any month or part of a month that he or she lives in the leased space. So if you do remain there until the 5th of a month, you would have to pay 5 days worth of rent.
