What part of the lease was forged? Was it a material issue -- like rental amount? Amenities? Renewal? A specific provision that you would have not initialed and thus perhaps not entered into the lease?
Think about the items above (i.e., material issue versus immaterial issue) and then look at some of the following items. No doubt he forged but be prepared to answer the question: are you bringing this up because you want to move?
