Once the house is sold at a foreclosure sale or auction, your tenancy is terminated. How long you can then remain depends on the circumstances:

1) If you have a written lease for a definite period of time (such as a one-year lease) AND the buyer is not buying the home to live in it personally, you get the longer of either 90 days or the remaining time on your lease.

2) If there is no written lease or the buyers wants to move in personally, you get 90 days.

The above assume the buyer wants you out: he or she may delay in taking no action, or may agree to keep renting to you.
