What to do if my roommate just got charged with 3 felonies for drug possesion?
This happened in another county where his family lives. He will likely be on probation but wants it to occur in our rental household. I don’t think it is fair that I have to give up my privacy for him. Is there any possible way to legally break my lease because of this?

Unfortunately, this does not give your ground to legally break your lease. The lease is a contract, between you and your landlord: your obligations to each other, such as your obligation to pay rent for the entire term or period of the lease, is not affected by the criminal or other wrongful activity (or its consequences) of someone not under the landlord's control, like your roommate.
