If I just found out that my 8 year old’s father is in prison for possession of child porn and was sentenced to 7 years, how do I go after back child support or have him sign away his parental rights?
His biological father has never had anything to do with him. I do not want him around my son due to his criminal charges.

Ok so you can ot have things both ways: child support and termination of parental rights. It is one or the other. If your child has no contact and he is in prison for what you say you probably stand a good chance at termination. You can also ask that he voluntarily gives up those rights. Seek legal help.
