You have the right to show the unit on 24 (or more) hours written notice, at reasonable times of day, such as between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. The landlord should respect reasonable tenant requests, such as to watch out/be careful of a dog, or to show the unit at some other time if mutually agreeable. The landlord, subject to providing notice and showing at a reasonable time, definitely has the right to show the space even if the tenants are still there.
