If my wages are being garnished for a small claims personal case, what happens ifI pay the balance?
I need to know if the garnishment will continue if the plaintiff doesn’t file satisfaction paperwork in a timely manner.

If your wages are presently being garnished with respect to a small claims judgment against you, if you pay the balance owed, the judgment creditor is required to provide you with a signed full satisfaction of judgment for you to file with respect to the case that you got sued on.
The full satisfaction of judgment means that you have paid off in full the judgment against you and you no longer owe on it.
