My wife and I are separated and planning to divorce.

My wife and I are separated and planning to divorce. We had a vehicle that was registered to her but I paid for. She sold it to a friend of hers but hasn’t given me any money for it. Can I do anything about it?

The money that she received will be part of your total marital assets and therefore, when the assets are divided during the divorce, you will entitled to a share of it. To oversimply, since each situation has some differences based on the specific facts, you should receive one-half the proceeds.
