After I leave my wife, how long do I need to wait before I start seeing someone else legally for her not to be able to rob me blind?
My wife and I have been married for 9 1/2 years and have 2 children. We are both very unhappy together and I want to leave her.

Under the laws of all states in this country there is no time period for you to wait before seeing someone else after you leave the spouse legally. As to the distribution of assets and child support, such depends upon the laws of your state and not upon whether or not you are seeing someone else soon after separation.
