If my wife died of a suicide, will her life insurer pay out on the policy?
I have had her policy for 8 years. I need help with the funeral expenses.

Usually, life insurance policies have what is known as a 2 year "contestibility clause". This means if the insured committed suicide within 2 years of the purchase of the policy, the insurer will not pay. However, since you bought th policy over 2 years ago, you should be able to collect on the policy. At this point, you should check the policy and even take it to lawyer for review if need be.
