This will depend on the particular judge as to how soon the judge will rule on this matter. If you have filed a notice of appeal, the court has now been informed that you are going to pursue an appeal. The actual appeal will occur later and will be based on the issues you raise in the pleadings (supporting documents) that you file and when a hearing is scheduled for the court to hear arguments on the appeal.
